The Cambodia Mine Action Center's humanitarian mandate is to clear land for resettlement of Internally Displaced People, agriculture, community development, and reconstruction of the national infrastructure. CMAC has grown rapidly from a small group of local deminers and a few international experts in 1993 to a large national organization that employs close to 3,000 deminers and HQ personnel. CMAC's four functional areas are Mine Awareness, Mine Verification, Mine/ UXO Clearance, and Training. |

The Comisión Nacional del Desminado was established in 2002 to coordinate Chile's humanitarian demining and stockpile reduction plans. Several units of the Chilean Army and Navy are performing demining operations around the country. |

The Centro de Desminado del Ecuador(CENDESMI) was created in September 1999 to coordinate mine action in Ecuador. CENDESMI conducts mine risk awareness and demining operations in mined areas along the border with Peru. |
Organization of American States - Mine Action Program |

The Mine Action Program (AICMA) of the OAS was formed in the 1990s when member nations requested assistance in clearing landmines as part of a regional peace process. The Program supports national demining units with support for mine field surveying, mapping, marking, and clearance. The Program has supported humanitarian demining operations in Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala, and Costa Rica. |
Thailand Mine Action Center |

The mission of the Thailand Mine Action Center is to coordinate, monitor, and implement mine clearance, landmine/unexploded ordnance surveys, mine awareness, and victim assistance activities thoughout Thailand. The center is also responsible for establishing a program to meet Thailand's obligations as a signatory to the Ottawa Treaty. It operates under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Lung Naradhiwas Rajnagarindra. |
